Tero Laurila raised to 1,100,000 as first to act with 8♠8♥ and Georgios Tsouloftas made the call with A♥Q♠ in the hijack. Oliver Boyce found K♣9♣ in the big blind and also tossed in some chips for a call, and the 10♠J♣6♦ flop emerged from the deck.
The flop was checked to Tsouloftas, who put in a bet of 1,200,000. Boyce snap folded his flopped gutshot and Laurila's pocket pair quickly hit the muck as well, seeing Tsouloftas extend his lead.
