Hogan Busts Two

Level 7 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

When the action was caught the flop of {q-Spades}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs} was already dealt. There were 3,500 chips in the middle and big blind Joshua Bruce went all-in after a check from small blind Francis Hogan. Anthony Harnden was in the cutoff and made the call, as did Hogan.

The turn brought the {9-Spades} and Hogan checked again. Harnden now went all in for 13,500. Hogan took some time before realizing that the turn had completed his flush draw and immediately called apologetically after that had dawned on him. All three of the players' cards were shown.

Joshua Bruce: {8-Spades}{2-Spades}
Anthony Harnden: {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Francis Hogan: {k-Spades}{7-Spades}

Spades in some capacity for everyone, but Hogan's second nut flush held on the {3-Hearts} river. He raked in the pot while apologizing once more, and the other two players will have to try their luck with a new stack if they want to make it to Day 2.
