In what would become an action packed pot, Christopher Day raised from under the gun to 600 and was called by Farid Fawzi. Ian Marmion reraised to 2,100 and John Mooney called on the button. Day four-bet to 6,000, Fawzi folded and Marmion shoved all in. Mooney also pushed all his chips into the middle and Day made the call.
Three players flipped their cards, with both Mooney and Marmion at risk.
John Mooney:
Ian Marmion:
Christopher Day:
"At least I'm live," said Mooney.
"You're far too live," replied Day.
The board ran out . The ace on the flop gave both Marmion and Day top pair and left Mooney drawing thin. He failed to improve and was eliminated from the tournament. Marmion and Day chopped up his stack and Mooney left the table.
