Welcome to Day 1b of the Irish Open €1,150 Main Event, running at the Royal Society Dublin. This is the second of four starting flights and the winner set to be crowned on April 10th.

Dublin local Steve O'Dwyer is the reigning Main Event champion. He topped a record breaking field of 2,040 entrants last year to lock up a score of €318,900.

This year’s tournament could potentially be a record breaker, especially considering that over 550 players qualified online via satellites held by the event’s sponsors, Paddy Power and PokerStars.

At the end of Day 1a, Norway’s Bjorn Gravlien emerged as the leader with 244,400 chips.

Day 1b commences at noon local time. Players will have starting stacks of 30,000 chips and blinds will begin at 100/100. Blind levels run for 60-minutes with a 20-minute break ever two levels and a dinner break at the end of level 6.

Players will have the option to reenter Day 1b if they crash out, and will also be able to fire one additional bullet before late registration closes at the start of Day 2.
