O'Driscoll Drills a Set

Level 10 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

The action was caught on the turn on a board that read {7-Clubs}{8-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{10-Spades}. Three players were still battling for the 17,500 chips in the middle. Conor O'Driscoll checked from middle position, and hijack Wendal Roth bet 14,000.

Cutoff Tom Storebo went out of the way and the remaining two players saw the {6-Diamonds} river roll off. This card did not appease either player as they both checked their hands, leading to a showdown. Roth was the first one to show his {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} but it was no match for the set of O'Driscoll with {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}.

O'Driscoll raked in a nice pot near the end of the day and both players are sitting on healthy stacks looking to forward them to Day 2.
