Shin Takes A Knee

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Following a late position open to 9,000, Mike Shin called in the hijack, and the players were off to a flop of {3-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{6-Spades} heads up.

Shin check-called 7,500, and the dealer put out the {4-Spades} on the turn. The hijack bet 19,000 when checked to, and Shin's cards hit the muck.

Noel Takes Hit on Semi-Bluff

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Ryan Hohner opened for 6,500 in the hijack, and the players folded to Bobby Noel, who defended his big blind.

The flop went check-check after {10-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{9-Spades} hit the felt.

Noel led for 9,000 on the {7-Clubs} turn, and Hohner called.

After the {9-Clubs} river paired the board, Noel dropped a hefty 35,000 bet, and Hohner confirmed with the dealer, "35k?" before quickly calling, leaving very little behind.

Noel showed {8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for the turned open-ender, and Hohner tabled {a-Spades}{9-Hearts} for rivered trips and a near double.

Clark's Truck Gets a New Owner

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Scotter Clark
Scotter Clark

Scotter Clark placed all of his large denomination chips on top of his miniature tractor-trailer, then moved all in for 61,500 from the hijack. Stephen Song called on the button, and Greg Jennings three-bet shoved for 72,500 total from the small blind. Song called that as well.

Scotter Clark: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Greg Jennings: {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Stephen Song: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

Clark and Song shared the same hand, and Jennings held on the {2-Hearts}{k-Spades}{k-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} runout, finishing with a full house for the near triple.

Before leaving the table, Clark signed the mini tractor-trailer and rolled it across the felt to Jennings, who said, "Thanks Scotter! I'm gonna put this up on my bookshelf."

Chip Lead for Coliny

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Justin Coliny finished Day 1b with a healthy stack and shows no signs of slowing down.

In this hand, Dan Lowery opened from middle position, and Coliny three-bet to 21,000. Lowery called.

After {2-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{6-Spades} was spread, Coliny continued for 25,000. Lowery called again.

The {10-Diamonds} added a flush draw to the board on the turn, and Coliny fired once more for 50,000. Lowery matched it without hesitation.

The dealer put out the {6-Hearts} on the river, pairing the board, and Coliny bet 65,000. Lowery quickly called and got the bad news when Coliny revealed his {2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} for a flopped set and rivered boat.
