Abuzar Fires Three Streets
A player limped from early position and Karim Abuzar raised to 500 from middle position. He received four calls from players behind in the hijack, on the button, and out of both blinds. The original limper called as well to take postflop action six ways.
The flop came and action checked to Abuzar, who put out a continuation-bet of 1,100. The hijack and the small blind were the only two to continue, taking action three ways to the turn . The small blind checked again and Abuzar continued, firing another 2,000. The hijack called and the small blind folded.
The river came and Abuzar bet 3,300 into his one last opponent in the hijack. Upon seeing the bet, the hijack folded, tabling to show he had not hit anything.
Abuzar said he got lucky too as he showed , implying surprise that his sevens remained an overpair the whole time as he took down a pot that saw six to the flop without needing a showdown to do so.
