Flush For Raymer

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Greg Raymer raised to 100,000 from the cutoff with {6-Spades}{5-Spades}, and was called by David Gutfreund in the small blind with {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}, and Tim Barany in the big blind with {a-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}.

The {8-Spades}{q-Spades}{7-Hearts} flop had something for everyone, but action checked to Raymer, who held an open-ender and a flush draw. Raymer bet 150,000, and Gutfreund called with top pair, while Barany let his bottom pair go.

The {a-Spades} turn, which would've given Barany aces-up, also gave Raymer a flush. Gutfreund checked, and Raymer bet 300,000. Gutfreund let his pair of queens go.
