"It's a Wonder I Have Any Chips Left"

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

A player in the big blind moved all in for 10,200 into a pot of over 30,000, and Ryan Ashman was thinking with {10-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{4-Spades}{8-Clubs} on the board.

"Well, that's not the river card I wanted to see, but I'm gonna call," he said, flicking {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} into the middle.

Problem was, Penny Banhidy hadn't acted yet and action was on her. The dealer briefly attempted to cover up the cards but then decided it was too late. Banhidy asked what the situation was and some of the players informed her that Ashman had called.

"I'm gonna call," she announced.

The big blind showed an {a-Spades}{4-Hearts} to chop and Banhidy's hand was revealed to be {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}. She then explained she hadn't seen the revealed hand, admonishing herself for the error.

"It's a wonder I have any chips left," she grumbled.
