Low Goes High With Boat
A player in middle position opened to 500 and action folded around to Roger Low who was on the button and called. Both players in the blinds came along as well to take action four ways to the flop . The blinds checked and the player in middle position bet 1,000. Low called and both blinds folded.
With action heads up, the turn fell . The original raiser checked to Low, who bet 2,500. She made the call and the river came . The middle-position player checked to Low again and he fired again for 7,000. After some thought, the middle-position player put in a check-raise to 15,000. Low called.
"Good call," said the player in middle position as she turned over .
Low tabled for fives full of aces and took down the pot as the table laughed about how she was unable to get him off his hand due to its strength.
"I mean, you probably would have folded if I shoved all in over the top of you," responded Low.
"You think?!" she responded as the entire table erupted once more.
