Welcome To Day 1d of HPT Golden Gates
The fourth and final flight of Heartland Poker Tour Golden Gates $1,100 Main Event is set to get underway shortly. In total, 414 entries have been logged over the first three days and 69 have already found their way into Sunday’s Day 2.
Through three days, David Berger finds himself as the overall chip leader with a stack of 628,000. The next three biggest stacks all came from Day 1c’s flight, when Jason Sater (590,000), Maz Keshavarzi (460,500), and Bruce Russell (419,000) all were able to put stacks of more than 400,000 into bags for when the field combines tomorrow.
Saturday’s flight is sure to surpass the 204 entries that Friday’s Day 1c saw. Cards will be in the air at noon, local time and players will receive starting stacks of 30,000. Like the first three heats, play will occur until 15 40-minute levels have been completed. There will be 15-minute breaks after every two hours of play and a one-hour dinner break at the completion of Level 9.
Unlimited re-entries are available for this final initial flight with registration remaining open through the completion of the dinner break at approximately 7:30 p.m. local time. The action has been jam-packed through the first three days and more of the same is expected to commence in the near future as the field looks to capitalize on their final chance to advance.
