Taylor Takes His Seat

Jonathan Taylor just joined us on Day 1 of the HPO Tunica Regional Championship, and the Alabama native brings an impressive poker résumé with him.
Taylor's first major score came in October of 2012, when he finished runner-up in the World Series of Poker Circuit Southern Indiana Main Event for $72,517. A few weeks later he won an $800 buy-in tournament right here in Tunica for $56,746, and in March of 2013 he took down the WSOP Circuit Black Hawk Main Event for $138,938.
Without a doubt Taylor's crowning achievement came in June of 2013 when he took down Event #14 at the 44th annual WSOP, earning $454,424 and a coveted gold bracelet:
Taylor is in the field today, and will be looking to add to that already impressive poker résumé.
