Fledderman Doubles

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Mark Fledderman was the chip leader entering today, but got off to a bit of a rough start. He's now back in the middle of the pack after winning a coin flip against Chris Moneymaker.

The 2003 World Series of Poker Main Event champ raised to 4,000 in middle position, Fledderman three-bet to 14,000 out of the small blind, and Moneymaker shoved for effectively 65,400. Fledderman called.

Moneymaker: {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}
Fledderman: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

Fledderman took the lead on a flop of {6-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{j-Spades}, and Moneymaker needed one of the two remaining sevens in the deck to secure the knockout. Fledderman survived as the turn and river bricked {2-Hearts}, {j-Clubs} respectively, and doubled to 136,000 chips - less than what he started the day with.

Moneymaker dipped down to 265,000 chips.
