Global Poker Montreal Grand Prix Turbo Series Kicks Off June 7

The Montreal Grand Prix race takes place Sunday, and the Global Poker community is getting revved up for the excitement with the June 7 Grand Prix Turbo Series, which promises some huge prizes for both Gold Coins (GC) and Sweeps Coins (SC) players on the social poker platform.

Grand Prix Turbo Series Highlights

Action kicks off Friday with four no-limit hold'em tournaments, first the 7:30 p.m. ET GC 11,000/SC 11 event with GC 4,000,000/SC 8,000 guaranteed. There are a total of 24 tournaments from June 7-9 on the schedule — 12 GC and 12 SC.

The biggest event, which takes place June 9, is the SC 99 Main Event. This tournament, certain to attract a large field on Global Poker, kicks off at 5 p.m. ET, and has a SC 100,000 guarantee. Players are eligible for rebuy and one add-on. The same event for the Gold Coins players starts at the same time and has a GC 99,000 buy in with GC 500,000 guaranteed.

In total, the series promises at least GC 125,000,000 awarded and SC 250,000. On top of that, the lucky Sweeps Coin winner at the end-of-year Home Stretch Tournament will be awarded an exclusive Scuderia Ferrari hospitality experience to a North American Grand Prix race of their choice. And, as always when it comes to a Global Poker series, there's plenty of sweet Global Poker swag up for grabs.
