Global Poker x PokerNews Cup GC Freeroll Finale Wraps up Thrilling Series
What’s been a great couple of weeks on Global Poker reaches its crescendo Sunday with the Global Poker x PokerNews Cup Freeroll Finale.
This exclusive event will be filled with just 45 qualifiers who earned their way into the 100,000,000 GC event by winning an event during the series, or by winning exclusive satellites that ran throughout the series.
The event will see the final nine players claim a share of that huge prizepool, with the winner earning 30,000,000 GC for their Global Poker account. Each final table member will earn at least 3,500,000 GC.

Among the 45 entries is last weekend’s Global Poker x PokerNews Cup Main Event champion "Todaysfreak". Their thrilling final table comeback win to top a field of 296 players earned them a seat in the Freeroll Finale along with the 3,860,000 GC first prize.
Action gets underway at 4 p.m. ET with the players starting their quest for Global Poker gold coins with 10,000 chips at opening blinds of 30/60 with a 6 chip ante. Levels will be ten minutes in length with players receiving the standard five-minute break before the top of every hour.
