Holz Takes Down First Substantial Pot of the Day

Level 6 : 700/1,400, 200 ante

Action started off with Dario Sammartino bumping it up to 3,000 form middle position and a three-bet was then announced of 12,750 by Fedor Holz in the small blind.

Sammartino called and the flop rolled out {j-Clubs}{5-Spades}{3-Clubs}. Holz continued for 13,890, Sammartino called and the {10-Clubs} turn card brought flush possibilities to life.

Both players checked through to the {k-Diamonds} river where Holz bet 15,480 and Sammartino hit the timebank button. Ultimately he folded, shipping the pot to Holz.

Dvoress Takes Early Lead

Level 5 : 600/1,200, 180 ante

Patrick "Pepsi_zero" Semrau raised to 2,000 from the cutoff and Daniel Dvoress called in the big blind to see the {4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop. Semrau led out for 2,000 and Dvoress quickly raised to 7,625.

Semrau called, a {10-Hearts} landed as a turn card and Dvoress pushed in 32,200. Semrau hit the tank and in the end, he elected to shoved his 188,179 stack into the middle.

Dvoress snap-called his last 76,000 and the two tabled their hands. Semrau showed {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} for a pair of nickels with a straight draw but he was only drawing to a chop after Dvoress showed {a-Spades}{5-Clubs}, giving him a flopped straight.

The {q-Clubs} river cemented the pot for Dvoress who secured a completed double through Semrau.
