Varonen Ousts Two

Level 24 : 12,500/25,000, 0 ante
Double KO for Varonen
Double KO for Varonen

Lauri "KarilleMeni" Varonen raised to 62,500 on the button and Dirk Gerritse called. Gergo Nagy potted in the big blind, Varonen called, and Gerritse called for less. On the {6-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} flop, Nagy shoved the last 115K and Varonen called.

Nagy: {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{k-Spades}{2-Spades}
Gerritse: {k-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{3-Spades}
Varonen: {q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}

Varonen turned everyone dead with the {5-Spades}

Habegger Fades Outs

Level 24 : 12,500/25,000, 0 ante

Fernando "Jnandez87" Habegger opened in the cutoff, Dirk Gerritse potted in the small blind and Habegger shoved for 517K. Gerritse called.

Gerritse: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}
Habegger: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

Gerritse flopped well on {10-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{9-Hearts} but the {3-Diamonds} and {j-Spades} missed him.

Ferreira Eliminated on Bubble

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante
Rui Ferreira
Rui Ferreira

Isaac Haxton min-raised and Rui Ferreira defended the big blind. He came out potting on {5-Spades}{2-Clubs}{7-Spades} and Haxton shoved for 43K more effective. Ferreira stuck it in after tanking a bit and showed {k-Spades}{j-Spades}{q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}. Haxton had a draw too but was ahead with ace-high with {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Spades}.

Both players bricked out on {2-Hearts} and {9-Diamonds} so Haxton won in somewhat unlikely fashion.

Satubayev Survives

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Shyngis "somebodyelse" Satubayev opened for 50,000 in the cutoff and Isaac Haxton called in the big blind. Haxton then led for pot and called a shove worth 301K from Satubayev on the {5-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop.

Satubayev: {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{8-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Haxton: {9-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Hearts}{2-Hearts}

Haxton had the weaker pair and the weaker draw and saw his equity further reduced on the {9-Clubs} turn. He still had a shot with two pair but the {4-Spades} wasn't the card he needed.
