Rudolph Turns Big to Collect from Filatov

Level 8 : 1,000/2,000, 250 ante

Adrian Mateos raised to 4,400 from under the gun and on his direct left was Anatoly Filatov who called. Christian Rudolph called on the cutoff and Jans Arends defended his big blind. A {q-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flop saw action fall on Rudolph and he bet 7,716.

Only Filatov called the bet and a {5-Clubs} peeled off on the turn. Action checked to Rudolph, he bet 19,681 and Filatov called. The {q-Hearts} river completed the board, Rudolph saw action check to him once more and he elected to jam 94,091.

Filatov snap-called for less, putting in his 63,531 stack as the two tabled their hands. Filatov showed {a-Spades}{q-Clubs} for three ladies, a hand that he probably thought was a sure winner until Rudolph turned over {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}, giving him a boat to scoop the pot and Filatov was knocked out in the process.
