Today marks the last day for anyone wanting to participate in a starting flight for the France Poker Series Aix-les-Bain Main Event (hosted by Pokerstars), with Day 1c set to begin at 1 p.m. local time. Day 1d, which is the fourth and final starting flight, will take place at 8 p.m.

Yesterday, an additional 127 entrants descended upon the Casino Grand Cercle for Day 1b, which brings the total number of participants for the event up to 262 when combined with Day 1a.

The overall leader so far France's own Karim Kaladjou, who bagged up an impressive 366,000 last night and is the only player who ended over the 300k mark. Kaladjou is a regular in FPS events and earned a career-best cash last year for €17,300 after placing sixth in an FPS Super High Roller event. Kaladjou is currently best-positioned to make another deep run and add to his $100,000 in live-tournament earnings.
