Van Dijk Leads Heading into Final Day of PokerStars Eureka Hamburg Main Event
After four days of poker action, the 615-strong field in the €1,100 buy-in PokerStars Eureka Hamburg Main Event has been whittled down to the final 19 competitors. The players will be returning to Casino Schenefeld at 3:00 p.m. local time on Sunday, July 7 for the final day to do battle for the title, and top prize of €110,070.
The largest slices of the €584,250 prize pool are still yet to be claimed, with Dutchman Stan Van Dijk leading the way (2,000,500) after a strong finish to Day 2, closely followed by Germans Tim Werner (1,850,000) and Sergej Schumacher (1,645,000).

Van Dijk already boasts one six-figure score on his poker resume, having taken silver in the Battle of Malta Main Event in 2022 and he'll be seeking to repeat that feat today. Victory for either Werner or Schumacher would by far represent the biggest result of their respective poker careers.
Andre Hegendorf (219,000) and PokerStars Qualifier Philipp Ruthard (260,000), the last qualifier standing, bring up the rear and will be hoping to be able to make some early moves in Day 3.
Regulars on the European poker scene Ercan Atmaca (1,100,000), Simone Demasi (930,000) and Nicklas Dehli (770,000), also remain firmly in the hunt.

The players will be returning to 60-minute levels at Level 23, which features blinds of 10,000/25,000, with a 25,000 big blind ante. Play will continue until a winner is crowned.
