2024 PokerSars UKIPT Nottingham

Dusk Till Dawn plays host to the PokerStars UK & Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT) from November 8-18, which features, among its many tournaments, a £1 million guaranteed UKIPT Nottingham Main Event.

UKIPT Nottingham first featured back in 2010 during the tour's debut season. The Nottingham leg has always proven popular despite a five-year hiatus between 2016 and 2021. Indeed, some of the largest top prizes the UKIPT has awarded have been in Nottingham's Main Event.

The 2024 edition of the UKIPT Nottingham festival begins on November 8 with the £230 NLHE Warm Up. This event features four starting flights, and the champion will be crowned on November 10.

PokerStars and Dusk Till Dawn have placed a £1 million guarantee on the UKIPT Nottingham Main Event. Four flights are available to help the £1,100 buy-in tournament reach this ambitious total, each with one re-entry per day permitted.

PokerNews' live reporting team is heading to the home of British poker to bring you live and exclusive updates from the £1,100 UKIPT Nottingham Main Event, from when the dealers pitch the first cards until the winner's trophy is awarded. The first flight is on November 10, and we'll discover the worthy champion on November 18.

Last year, the UKIPT Nottingham Main Event doubled as the tour's grand finale. Including re-entries, 1,227 players bought in, generating a £1,177,920 prize pool. Dozens of top-tier players finished in the top 185 places, seeing a return on their investment. They included Ankit Ahuja, Leo Worthington-Leese, Team PokerStars' Marle Spragg, Fintan Hand and Benjamin Spragg, Endrit Geci, Tim Chung, and Ludovic Geilich.

Vincent Meli eventually emerged victoriously after a heads-up clash with Patrice Brandt. The heads-up duo struck a deal, which gave Brandt £168,425 for his runner-up finish, with Meli taking home £159,325 and the title of champion.

Stars Expected in the £3,200 Luxon Pay Super High Roller

David Docherty
Reigning UKIPT Super High Roller champion David Docherty

The £3,200 Luxon Pay Super High Roller has the largest buy-in of any UKIPT Nottingham tournament. The two-day affair should see some of the top poker talent take to the felt as they attempt to rake in the lion's share of the £100,000 guaranteed prize pool. In addition to a £100,000 guarantee, the Luxon Pay Super High Roller is gifting its champion a $4,000 package to the Mediterranean Poker Party! If the £3,200 buy-in is too steep for you, a £230 satellite runs four hours before the Super High Roller starts at 1:00 p.m. on November 13.

Scotland's David Docherty came out on top in this event in 2023. Docherty navigated through a 46-strong field, including defeating Xu Hang heads-up, to capture a £46,180 top prize.
