In an unbelievable turn of events Goran Mandic has just been knocked out! The action started when the young Croatian raised to 42,000 under the gun plus one and Steve O'Dwyer three-bet to 115,000 from the cutoff. The action was folded back to Mandic who four-bet to 219,000 and O'Dwyer went into the tank. After about 20 seconds he moved all in and Mandic snap-called.

Mandic: {J-Hearts}{J-Clubs}
O'Dwyer: {3-Spades}{3-Diamonds}

Mandic was all in for right around 900,000 chips and this hand was crucial for both players as O'Dwyer had him only covered by a little bit. The dealer put out {5-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{10-Clubs} on the flop and O'Dwyer was looking for running straight cards or a three.

The turn brought the {2-Hearts} and many players gasped as O'Dwyer picked up the straight draw. When the river brought the {6-Clubs} the American made his straight. Everyone at the table and standing around the table was shocked by this river card and Mandic shook his head as he left the tournament in 15th place. O'Dwyer remained quiet and raked in the chips.

"How would you stack these?" O'Dwyer asked a little later to Jason Mercier who started laughing but helped his opponent out.

"Now that's a horrible problem to have," Grant Levy chipped in as O'Dwyer is now second in chips behind Andrew Pantling.
