Kim Eliminated
Brian Kim has just been eliminated, and it was two hands that did him in.
The first of the two was the big one and knocked Kim to under 10 big blinds. After seeing a flop with Clyde Tjauw Foe and one other player, Kim check-raised Tjauw Foe's bet of 4,100 to 8,300 on a flop of with two diamonds. The third player had folded before Tjauw Foe reraised to 18,000. Kim jammed, and Tjauw Foe called off with the for two overcards and a flush draw. Kim held for top set.
The hit the turn, completing Tjauw Foe's flush, and a black on the river failed to give Kim the full house he needed. Tjauw Foe won the pot and doubled to about 120,000.
A couple hands later, Vasili Firsau opened with a raise to 2,500, and Kim jammed in the cutoff seat for 9,200. Action folded back to Firsau, and he called.
Firsau's dominated Kim's , and the flop of kept the tens in front. The on the turn added a flush draw to the straigt draw Kim had flopped, but the was of no consequence to Firsau's hand and he won the pot.
