O'Dwyer checked again, Pantling fired another 640,000, and O'Dwyer folded.

O'Dwyer Folds Top Pair

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

We caught the action on the turn when the flop brought {4-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} and Andrew Pantling bet 300,000 from the big blind. Steve O'Dwyer called from the button and the river brought the {A-Clubs}. Pantling now bet 525,000 and O'Dwyer tanked for a long time before folding his {A-Spades}{2-Clubs}. Pantling only had {K-Clubs}{5-Spades} and took down this pot.

Small Pots

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Both Andrew Pantling and Steve O'Dwyer are playing at a very high pace but so far we haven't seen any big pots.

Johnny Lodden Eliminated in 3rd Place (€467,000)

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante
Johnny Lodden - 3rd Place
Johnny Lodden - 3rd Place

Steve O'Dwyer opened to 150,000 on the button with {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}, Team PokerStars Pro Johnny Lodden three-bet to 400,000 with {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} from the small blind, and O'Dwyer tank-called.

The flop fell {7-Clubs}{4-Spades}{10-Diamonds}, Lodden led out for 350,000, and O'Dwyer made the call.

The turn was the {3-Spades}, Lodden shoved for 1,450,000, and O'Dwyer quickly called. Lodden was drawing to a jack and a jack only, and the {k-Diamonds} bricked off on the river.

This is the largest cash of Lodden's career, topping his 27th-place finish in the 2010 World Series of Poker.

The heads-up players are now on a quick, 15-minute break.

Great Folds Left and Right

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Andrew Pantling and Steve O'Dwyer have been battling it out for a while now and both players have been making some great laydowns. Pantling just folded {8-Clubs}{5-Spades} to a bet on a {5-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{J-Clubs} flop when O'Dwyer had {A-Hearts}{K-Spades} and on the very next hand it was the latter who folded a pair.

The board read {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{2-Clubs} in a checked-down hand that was raised preflop by Pantling when the Canadian bet 450,000 on the river. O'Dwyer folded his {J-Clubs}{6-Spades} after a while when Pantling had {A-Diamonds}{8-Spades}.

Johnny Lodden opened to 120,000 on the button with {q-Spades}{10-Clubs}, Steve O'Dwyer three-bet to 375,000 from the big blind with {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}, and Lodden four-bet to 880,000. O'Dwyer moved all in for 2,475,000, and Lodden asked for a count before calling.

O'Dwyer won the unorthodox race as the board rolled out {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}{6-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}, and doubled.

Pantling Extends His Lead Again

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Team PokerStars Pro Johnny Lodden raised from the small blind to 150,000 and Andrew Pantling called from the big blind. The flop brought {10-Spades}{J-Spades}{3-Hearts} and Lodden bet 180,000, Pantling called.

On the turn the {10-Diamonds} hit and both players checked. The river brought the {10-Clubs} and Lodden fired out 390,000. Pantling tanked for a while before raising it up to 1,075,000. Lodden thought about it for a while but eventually he made the call with {A-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}. Lodden's ace-high wasn't enough as Pantling had {J-Clubs}{8-Hearts} for a full house.

More for Pantling

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Andrew Pantling raised on the button with {5-Clubs}{4-Hearts}, Johnny Lodden defended his big blind with unknown cards, and then both players checked on a flop of {8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{8-Clubs}.

The turn was the {4-Clubs}, Lodden check-called 150,000 from Pantling, and the river was the {6-Spades}. Lodden checked again, Pantling tossed out 325,000, and Lodden tank-called.

Pantling showed the winner, Lodden mucked his unknown cards, and the Canadian raked in the pot.
