Rettenmaier Busted Juanda

Level 5 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante
John Juanda
John Juanda

Mike McDonald informed us that John Juanda busted out earlier versus Marvin Rettenmaier. Juanda raised with {A-}{10-} and Rettenmaier called with {10-}{10-}. The flop brought {A-}{10-}{6-} and Juanda proceeded to bet, bet and move all in on the river. Rettenmaier called all three streets with his set and Juanda was knocked out.

We haven't seen Juanda re-enter but he can choose to do so up until the start of Day 2.

Two Pair for Seiver Beats Mercier

Level 5 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Action folded to Team PokerStars Pro and two-time World Series of Poker gold bracelet winner Jason Mercier on the button. He raised to 4,800, and only Scott Seiver called from the big blind.

The {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}{9-Clubs} flop was presented by the dealer, and Seiver check-called a bet of 4,100 from Mercier to see the {10-Diamonds} land on the turn. Seiver checked, then Mercier checked behind.

The river was the {5-Hearts}, and Seiver fired 15,000. Mercier snap-called.

Seiver tabled two pair with the {K-Clubs}{9-Hearts}. Mercier couldnt beat it and mucked his hand, allowing Seiver to win the pot.

Full House for Mercier

Level 5 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

On the {10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{6-Clubs} flop, Justin Bonomo, Jason Mercier and Paul Newey checked in that order to see the {K-Diamonds} land on the turn. Bonomo and Mercier checked, then Newey bet 10,000. Bonomo folded, but Mercier called.

The {10-Hearts} landed on the river, and Mercier led for 26,000. After some thought, Newey called.

Mercier showed the {10-Spades}{5-Spades} for a full house, tens full of sixes. Newey showed just the {6-Diamonds} for the lower full house, then mucked his hand.

Re Enter

Level 5 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Fabian Quoss, Philipp Gruissem, Phil Ivey and Dan Smith have all re-entered the €100,000 Super High Roller. Earlier we also saw Mikhail Smirnov buy back in and that means that we've seen quite a few all ins already.

Team PokerStars Pro Jonathan Duhamel, Tom Marchese, Ilya Bulychev, Joseph Cheong and Sergii Baranov have also been knocked out and so far they have not bought back in.
