Wittke Doubles Through Lavi

Level 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

Craig McCorkell raised to 700 from middle position before Victor Lavi bumped it up to 3,050 from the button. Andreas Wittke was on the small blind and moved all in for his remaining 17,650 in chips. The big blind folded as did McCorkell. Lavi thought for a minute before making the call.

Lavi: {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Wittke: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}

Wittke was able to dodge all his opponents outs as the board ran out {2-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} to see him race up to 36,900 in chips.

The dealer made sure Lavi had placed in the right amount before scooping the pot over to WIttke.

“This time you didn’t make mistake,” said Lavi, suggesting something that happened earlier in play.

“I rarely make mistakes but when I do I apologise and the person always says it fine,” said the dealer, sounding frustrated at how he’d been talked to today.
