Roman Emelyanov Eliminated in 11th Place (€52,990)

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Roman Emelyanov
Roman Emelyanov

Shortly after getting short, Roman Emelyanov had the rest of his chips in the middle. Francois Billard had limped in for 40,000 and from the small blind Roman Emelyanov had shipped his stack in for 198,000. Ole Schemion in the big blind made the call and Billard made the call.

Both live players checked on {Q-Spades}{2-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} and they did the same on the {9-Spades} turn. The river was the {3-Clubs} and Schemion checked. Billard now bet a mere 50,000 and Schemion contemplated his move. "I should just move in now" he laughed, before eventually folding.

Billard showed his {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts} and Emelyanov tabled {A-Diamonds}{3-Spades}. €52,990 for Emelyanov, the same amount awaits the next player to bust.

Alexander Ivarsson Eliminated in 12th place (€46,400)

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Alexander Ivarsson
Alexander Ivarsson

Viacheslav Goryachev opened the button and Alexander Ivarsson in the big blind was the sole caller. Ivarsson checked to Goryachev on {4-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{6-Spades} and a bet of 50,000 followed. Ivarsson made the call and checked again on the {J-Hearts} turn. Goryachev slid forward 125,000 and Ivarsson check raised to 335,000. Goryachev made the call after some thinking.

The {7-Hearts} completed the board and Ivarsson bet 550,000 with just about 357,000 behind. Not much later he literally had his hands in his hair because Goryachev shoved all in. Ivarsson counted the remainder of his stack which wasn't much, looked up and around in despair, and eventually called all in.

Goryachev showed the {A-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for a rivered flush, Ivarsson open mucked his {8-Clubs}{10-Hearts} in disgust.

Ivarsson went to the pay out desk to collect his €46,400 cheque, the remaining 11 players are guaranteed €52,990 from this point forward.
