Ferreira's Being a Bad Boy
We just caught the tail end of a hand that looked like it was going to bring us one step closer to reaching the money. But it played out differently, much to the surprise of the man at risk, Daniel Ghionoiu.
The board showed when Ghionoiu bet 33,000 and Rui Ferreira put him all in for an additional 60,000. Bernd Vogelhuber got out of the way and folded after which Ghionoiu put his jacket on, and got up from the table.
Ghionoiu had so little chips behind that he himself was convinced that he was beat, but he did not find a way to fold his cards.
When Ghionoiu made the call Ferreira showed , and Ghionoiu's eyes searched the board for any connection.
"I win?" he asked, as he tabled for two pair.
"Nice hand," Ferreira said, as he doubled up one of the shortest stacks.
"You are a bad boy!" Ghionoiu joked to Ferreira, as there are still 42 players in the High Roller with 39 places paid.
