Maximos Pertsinidis opened to 1,200 preflop and was called by Matt Perrins in late position and Christoph Vogelsang in the big blind.
The flop was and Vogelsang checked to the Greek player who bet 2,600. Perrins quickly folded but Vogelsang made the call to see the on the turn. The German player checked a second time and Pertsinidis quickly fired 6,000. Vogelsang tanked for several minutes before folding.
Pertsinidis declared he had a very good hand but said he wasn't going to say what it was. Then he promptly said he had kings.
Leo Margets was in early position and put out a raise to 1,050. Marvin Rettenmaier flatted from the button and the player in the big blind came along as well.
The three players saw hit the felt and action checked over to Margets. She checked, Rettenmaier followed suit, and the came on the turn. There were two checks to Rettenmaier and he reached for chips, moving 2,225 past the betting line. The big blind folded and Margets quickly flung out a call.
The hit the river and Margets checked for a third time. Rettenmaier bet 3,825, Margets called, and the German pro showed for a Broadway straight. Margets mucked her cards and Rettemaier was pushed a pot that brought his stack to 60,000.
It’s quiet in the tournament room. There’s plenty going on, just not a lot of noise, save for riffle of chips and some murmuring coming from the group of people watching the UKIPT Main Event. That means when someone does speak it’s easy to hear them. And a few members of the Day 1a field in particular can be heard better than others. Like Tino de Zutter for example, as the PokerStars Blog reports.
On the turn of a board, SportStar Fatima Moreira de Melo bet 2,000 and received one caller before Ahmad Rehaime moved all in for about 7,825. de Melo called after some deliberation and the third player folded.

Rehaime:
The river changed nothing and Rehaime doubled up to about 20,000.
