On just the second hand of the day, Reuben Peters was able to double through Casper Hansen after making a set of nines on the flop. The players got all of the money in after the flop and Hansen showed a pocket pair of kings.
Peters was able to dodge the two remaining kings in the deck on the turn and river to double up to well over 300,000.
Tournament director Thomas Kremser has given the command to shuffle up and deal, and we're underway.
Unfortunately, our current setup does not facilitate the type of hand-for-hand coverage PokerNews is accustomed to providing at main event final tables - though I can assure you, we'll do our best!
