Alontsau Loses Three in a Row
Siarhei Alontsau has had a rough orbit and lost three hands in a row, which did some damage to his stack.
First, Alontsau raised from under the gun to 100,000 and got called by Barak Oz in the next seat, Siegfried Kapeller in the cutoff, and Tjenno Eskes on the button.
They went to a flop of Q♠2♣6♣ where Alontsau checked, Oz bet 215,000, Kapeller folded, Eskes called, and Alontsau folded.
On the 8♥ turn, Oz check-folded to Eskes' bet of 550,000.
In the next hand, Eskes raised the cutoff to 100,000 and Alontsau called out of the big blind.
On the Q♠8♦7♣ flop, Alontsau check-called a bet of 85,000 from Eskes to the 8♥ turn, which went check-check.
A 4♥ dropped on the river and Alontsau check-called a bet of 225,000 from Eskes, then mucked when he saw his opponent's K♥Q♥ for top pair.
Finally, Dimitrios Gkatzas raised to 100,000 early position and Kapeller called in middle position. Alontsau also called from the small blind.
On the 8♠5♣Q♦ flop, it checked to Kapeller, who fired 130,000. Only Alontsau called to the 8♣ turn, which checked through.
A 5♠ on the river double-paired the board, and Alontsau fired out 150,000. After some consideration, Kapeller called. Alontsau showed 10♣10♠, but he was beaten by the K♣Q♣ of Kapeller.
