Boatman proceeded to check-call Rantala down on every street. First for 36,000 on the 8♥8♠7♦ flop, then for 63,000 on the 4♥ turn, and finally for 100,000 on the 5♦ river. Rantala could only show K♦J♥ and Boatman turned over 6♣6♠ for a straight and was sent the pot.
"The river made it easier, but I had already decided [to call]," Boatman said.
