Straver in the Lead With Turned Set

Johannes Straver raised to 60,000 from middle position and Daniel Dvoress called from the hijack. Straver then checked on the 7♣6♣K♥ flop, after which Dvoress made a bet of 65,000.

Straver made the call before the J♦ turn fell. Straver checked again and Dvoress sized up to 280,000. Straver spent a few time banks but eventually made the call.

The 2♣ river was checked by both players in quick succession and Straver showed J♠J♣ for a set of jacks. Dvoress' cards disappeared into the muck as he traded over the chip lead to his neighbor.
