Hallay Loses Some After Santerne Doubles Up
Level 9
: Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Thomas Santerne opened to 2,500 on the button and was called by current chip leader Axel Hallay and Gianluca Speranza in the blinds.
Action was checked to Santerne on the Q♣J♣Q♦ flop, who slid out a bet of 2,000, to be met with a check-raise to 6,000 by Hallay. Speranza folded and Santerne called.
On the 9♠ turn Hallay check-called a bet of 7,500 from Santerne.
The 8♦ rolled off on the river and Hallay once again checked. Santerne took some time to think before moving all in for his remaining 20,000. Hallay made the quick call.
Santerne showed Q♠8♠ for the full house while Hallay had 10♣9♣ for the straight.
