Alexandre Correia limped under the gun, Alexandre Le Vaillant called in early position and Nozomu Shimizu squeezed to 80,000 from the button. Both players called.

The action checked to Shimizu, who continued for 85,000 on the 8♣10♥6♣ flop. Correia called and Le Vaillant folded.

The 8♠ turn saw Correia check again. Shimizu bet out 275,000 and Correia moved all in, just covering Shimizu's stack of 698,000. Shimizu called.

Cecile Ticherfatine was just seen dragging in a sizeable pot that put her stack at 1,700,000. She briefly recapped the action to PokerNews on how she shot up the counts.

Ticherfatine opened to 40,000 from under the gun and called when Nick Botman made it 90,000 from the button.

Ticherfatine check-called for 80,000 on the A♣7♠6♣ flop, which brought in the J♦ turn. She then check-raised to 360,000 over a bet of 120,000 and was called. On the 5♦ river, Ticherfatine fired out 245,000 and Botman quickly called.

Ticherfatine tabled J♥J♠ for a set of jacks, prompting Botman to muck.

Two hands later, she began dragging more chips in her direction after winning a three-handed pot. In a single raised pot on the 10♠8♥6♦2♥ board, Ticherfatine bet 60,000 which folded out her two opponents.
