Rouissi Scoops Chips in Messy Pot
Action was on the turn on a board of 10♥J♥Q♠6♣. Aristide Cochin bet 375,000 and Enis Rouissi raised to 775,000. Cochin started to think and after a minute a player called time. Cochin was not happy.
"I have a decision to make," he said, scratching his head as the floor counted down 30-seconds. In the last second, Cochin threw in a chip to signify the call.
The river came the 4♥. Rouissi then threw in 500,000, putting Cochin all in, but he did so out of turn. Floor personnel were called again and it was ruled that if Cochin checked the 500,000 bet would stand and if he took any other action then it would be back on Rouissa to do as he chooses.
Eventually, Cochin opted to fold. It was about as messy as a pot can get, but in the end it was Rouissi who scooped the chips.
