Wenzelburger's Back in the Game
Philipp Wenzelburger opened to 60,000 from the cutoff. Natan Chauskin and Vladimir Troyanovskiy called from the blinds.
Chauskin led out for 75,000 on the 9♥7♠5♠ flop and was called in both spots.
Chauskin continued for 250,000 on the 3♦ turn. Troyanovskiy called before Wenzelburger went into the tank. He used up two time banks, before jamming for 755,000. Chauskin snap-folded before Troyanovskiy began to mull over his options. The Russian used up a time bank of his own and then called to set up the massive pot.
Philipp Wenzelburger: 8♣8♥
Vladimir Troyanovskiy: A♠3♠
Chauskin immediately left his seat in frustration, possibly signifying he folded a hand stronger than Wenzelburger's. The latter was ahead with his eights, and needed to dodge Troyanovskiy's outs.
The 5♣ river was a brick and in back-to-back hands, Wenzelburger doubled.
