Pot for Carbo; Nasreddine Halts Benitez's Momentum
Gerard Carbo opened to 30,000 from under the gun. Rania Nasreddine, Philipp Wenzelburger and Vladimir Troyanovskiy called from early position, the cutoff and the big blind, respectively.
Carbo continued for 45,000 on the A♥3♠2♦ flop and only Troyanovskiy called. The latter check-folded to a bet of 120,000 on the 9♦ turn.
On the next deal, Rania Nasreddine opened to 30,000 from under the gun and was called by Francisco Benitez from the cutoff.
Nasredinne continued for 25,000 on the J♦8♣6♠ flop and called when Benitez made it 75,000. She check-called for 90,000 on the 4♠ turn before the 9♦ river checked through to showdown.
"You were supposed to bet," said Nasredidine as she tabled Q♠10♠ for the nut-straight. Benitez showed a sign of frustration for the first time today and then mucked his cards.
