Vo Flops Set to Double Through Kalietina

Ut Tam Vo raised to 700 from middle position, Diana Kalietina three-bet to 2,500 from late position, Oleksii Ievchenko called in the big blind and Vo called.

The flop came K♦5♦8♥. Action checked to Kalietina, who continued for 2,500. Ievchenko called, then Vo raised it to 5,900. Kalietina moved all in for 34,100. Ievchenko folded and Vo called for 16,000.

Kalietina showed K♠8♠ for two pair, but Vo had 8♦8♣ for a set of eights.

The turn came the J♣ and river the 5♣. Vo held to win the pot and double up his stack, leaving Kalietina relatively short stacked.

A neutral player started claiming it was obvious that Vo had a set of eights and then turned to Kalietina and said, "loose raise." The table pretty much ignored him as the next hand was dealt.
