Rubiralta Gets Paid by Hadioglu; Pronilow Picks Off Hamilton

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

With around 20,000 in the pot on a board of 3235, Gerard Rubiralta bet 7,500 from the big blind and Nuri Hadioglu called on the button.

The river was the 7 and Rubiralta bet another 6,500. Hadioglu again called and Rubiralta showed 99. Hadioglu mucked.

At the same time at another table, Ian Hamilton had shoved the river against Marc Pronilow with the board showing 54988.

"Why would you bet so much on the flop if you had kings or aces," Pronilow wondered as he tanked for more than five minutes. The clock was eventually called and Pronilow allowed the countdown nearly to reach zero before calling for his last 11,000.

Hamilton showed AK and Pronilow slammed down 1010 to win the pot and double up.
