Angelov Pulling Away

Level 33 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

Boris Angelov raised to 500,000 from the button with Q10 and Derk van Luijk called from the big blind with J9. The latter check-folded to a bet of 700,000 on the 1064 flop.

Jonathan Pastore, the short stack, folded A6 from under the gun before Boris Angelov made it 500,000 from the cutoff with K6 and folded out the rest of the table.

Pastore then chipped up a little bit after getting a walk from the big blind.

Rania Nasreddine raised to 550,000 on the button and Jovan Kenjic called in the big blind.

Both players checked the 1075 flop and the J fell on the turn. Kenjic led out for 450,000 and Nasreddine called.

The river was the 4 and Kenjic fired out another 500,000. Nasreddine quickly called and Kenjic showed Q10 for a flopped pair of tens. Nasreddine, though, had QJ for a pair of jacks on the turn.

"Run Good Rania strikes again," Nick Walsh said on the PokerStars live stream as Nasreddine took the pot.

Angelov Gets Kings Again; Van Luijk Takes Down Two

Level 32 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

The hand after busting Niclas Thumm, Boris Angelov again looked down at KK and raised to 400,000 in the cutoff. He got no action this time and won the pot uncontested.

Action then folded to Derk van Luijk on the button who moved all in. "Just one king. Not good enough," Jonathan Pastore said as he folded K4 in the big blind for his last 1,650,000, while Van Luijk took the pot with A10.

Van Luijk again raised a few hands later, making it 450,000 from under the gun with KQ. The rest of the table folded and Van Luijk took another round of blinds and antes.

Jonathan Pastore was in early position and used up a time bank before choosing to fold his 44.

Niclas Thumm then made a virtual all in, raising to 2,000,000, leaving him with 825,000 behind. Angelov called from the button before the blinds got out of the way.

On the AAQ flop, Thumm chucked in a time bank before checking. Thumm then snap-called for the remainder of his chips after Angelov bet 1,000,000.

Boris Angelov: KK

Thumm was miles in front with trip aces, and was the favorite for the 6,150,000 pot. The 3 turn kept "Flushi" ahead until Angelov spiked the K river, giving him a full house to seal the elimination in dramatic fashion.
