Sergi Reixach
Sergi Reixach

Action was picked up with Parker Talbot all in and at risk from middle position. Joao Tomas moved all in to go bounty hunting from the button. Sergi Reixach had the same idea from the big blind and had both players covered.

Parker Talbot: K10 All in
Joao Tomas: QQ All in
Sergi Reixach: 55

Reixach smashed the 546 to take a dominant lead. Talbot rooted for a chop after the 7 turn but Reixach's set sent them both to the rail.

Aces vs. Treys, a Bubble Story

Level 17 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Conor Bergin
Conor Bergin

The players waited around 45 minutes for the bubble to burst. Martin Lategui kicked off the action with an open raise to 11,000 from early position. Conor Bergin called from the cutoff, and then Klemens Roiter shoved all in from the button. Lategui, not feeling confident, folded, but Bergin made the call.

Klemens Roiter: AAAll in
Conor Bergin: 33

Aces are probably one of the hands you'd love to see when you're on the bubble, but even better is getting the call from pocket treys. However, the flop had other ideas, revealing 4310. Even the 8 turn and the K river failed to help Roiter and he was eliminated. Bergin was left with a stack totaling over 500,000 chips.

Alex Kulev

The pot had swelled to around 210,000 on the 71049Kx board when PokerNews began covering the action. Alex Kulev, with over 200,000 chips left, decided to go all in, which was promptly called by Jack Corrigan. Kulev revealed 98, while Corrigan showed AA. Unfortunately for Kulev, Corrigan doubled up, leaving Kulev with only 60,000 remaining.

A few hands later, Kulev found himself all in again, this time against Michael Gathy, who had opened from under the gun.

Alex Kulev: 22All in
Michael Gathy: AK

The board revealed 89K56, giving Gathy a pair of kings and marking the end of Kulev's run in the tournament.

Level 19 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Romain Lewis
Romain Lewis

Georgi Sandev was already all in on the button and at risk against two opponents when the dealer flipped over the turn card of the 3Q7K board.

With a significant side pot already built, Romain Lewis called a bet of 55,000 from Julien Sitbon to see the 5 river.

Lewis checked to Sitbon, who took a moment before checking back and all three hands were tabled.

Sandev showed A10 for ace-high, while Lewis revealed QQ for a set of queens. Sitbon avoided losing more chips, as he showed 66 for a pair. Sandev wished everyone good luck on his way to the payout desk, while Lewis raked in a big pot.

Jamie Flynn
Jamie Flynn

Paul Lagan moved all in for his last 102,000 from under the gun and was immediately at risk when Nir Sharon shoved for 265,000 on his direct left.

Jamie Flynn then put them both at risk when he moved all in from the cutoff and the hands were turned up.

Paul Lagan: A6 All in
Nir Sharon: AQ All in
Jamie Flynn: KK

Sharon took a quick lead by finding trips on the JQQ flop, while the 9 turn changed nothing. Flynn then spiked the 10 river to make a king-high straight, sending both Lagan and Sharon to the rail.

Santerne Takes it all from Corrigan

Level 24 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Jack Corrigan
Jack Corrigan

Rui Bouquet raised to 40,000 from early position, and Thomas Santerne, Jack Corrigan, and Martino Fiodor all called.

All players checked through the 492 flop.

On the 4 turn, it was checked to Corrigan, who bet 110,000 and was called only by Santerne.

Santerne also checked the Q river, and Corrigan bet 240,000, leaving just 20,000 of his stack behind. After some consideration, Santerne called.

Corrigan revealed A9 for a pair of nines, while Santerne showed JQ for a pair of queens.

A few hands later, Corrigan found himself with JJ and pushed all in for his last 20,000, equivalent to one big blind, after Santerne had already made a bet of 40,000. Martin Stausholm was also involved but folded after Santerne's continuation bet, only staying until the flop. Santerne showed JK and was fortunate enough to make a flush on the 347K9 board.
