Byron Kaverman opened to 120,000 from the cutoff with J♥8♥ and Ben Heath called on the button with Q♥10♥.
Stephen Chidwick was in the big blind, and after taking some time to consider the position, he produced a three-bet to 390,000 with A♠A♥, leading to swift folds from both of his opponents.
Juan Pardo raised to 130,000 from early position. Alex Kulev three-bet to 375,000 on the button, a virtual all-in with just 20,000 behind the line. Pardo put him in for the rest and Kulev called.
Alex Kulev: 9♦9♣
Juan Pardo: K♥10♠
The flop was a safe one as it came 2♥3♠Q♦. However, the 10♣ turn put Pardo out in front. The J♠ sent Kulev to the rail, ending his campaign for back-to-back Super High Roller titles here in Monaco.
The cards are in the air and play has commenced for the day. PokerNews will be live reporting on a 30-minute delay so as to not spoil the PokerStars live stream.
