Play is scheduled to resume in the 2024 PokerStars EPT Monte Carlo €10,200 Mystery Bounty at the Sporting Monte-Carlo here in Monaco.
The cards will be in the air for Day 2 of this event at 12:30 p.m. local time, with Vlad Martynenko as the chip leader with a stack of 436,500. He is closely followed by Thomas Santerne who bagged 428,000 chips.
Rounding out the top 5 is Kazuhiko Yotsushika with 414,000, Vicente Delgado with 400,000 and Aliaksei Boika with 392,500. Other notable players to be bagging a stack outside of the top 10 are PokerStars Ambassador Sam Grafton who bagged 150,500, Ole Schemion who has 112,000 and Adrian Mateos who has 111,000.
Of the 69 entries, 39 bagged a stack for start of play today, but expect more entrants into this field as late registration is open until the end of end of Level 10. The mystery bounty tokens will be distributed to players at the start of Level 13.
Entrants looking to unveil bounties from the golden envelopes will be given a starting stack of 100,000 chips. A 30-minute break is scheduled at the end of Level 12 and a 15-minute break will be given at the end of Level 16. Play will pause for a 75-minute dinner break at the end of Level 20.
Action will resume with the blinds at 1,500/3,000 with a 3,000 big blind ante and 15% of the field will find the money come the end of the tournament.
