The following hand, Malinov looked down at A♦10♦ from the small blind and made it 1,050,000. Virgile Turchic defended his big blind with K♣9♥.
The Q♥8♠7♥ flop saw Malinov check, and Turchi bet 700,000. Malinov called. The Q♣ turn paired the board and action checked through to the 2♥ river. Malinov had the best hand and checked. Turchi checked back and Malinov recouped some of his chips that went to Gambini.
