Kraous Doubles Back Through Joyce

Anton Kraous shoved for his last 265,000 from the cutoff and it was folded to Philip Joyce in the big blind, who quickly stuck in a call after looking at his hole cards.

"We're probably flipping," Joyce said before both hands were revealed.

Joyce was correct, but the 2♥6♣10♥3♦6♥ runout came in Kraous' favor to award him the double up and leave Joyce as the short stack once again.

Georgios Tsouloftas A♥K♣ opened to 120,000 from under the gun before Oliver Weis 4♥4♦ made it 375,000 from the button. Tsouloftas four-bet to 950,000 and was called.

Tsouloftas paired up on the K♠Q♦J♦ flop, and checked. Weis fired out 650,000 and was called to swell the pot to 3,350,000.

The 5♦ turn gave Weis flush outs, and he sized up to 1,900,000 after Tsouloftas checked for a second time and then folded the better hand.

Weis tabled the bluff and took in the sizeable pot to take the chip lead.

Andrea Dato opened to 120,000 from under the gun and was called by Philip Joyce in the small blind for a heads-up pot.

Joyce checked to Dato, who continued for 120,000 on the 9♦K♦3♣ flop. Joyce then check-raised to 350,000 and Dato called.

The 2♣ fell on the turn and Joyce used up a time extension before announcing he was all-in, which was enough to put Dato all in for his last 1,080,000.

Dato asked for a count and stuck in a call to put himself at risk.

Tsouloftas checked to Joyce, who made a small bet of 60,000 on the 4♣3♦2♠ flop. Tsouloftas raised to 360,000 and Joyce called.

Both players checked on the K♥ turn and Tsouloftas checked a final time after the 2♣ completed the board.

Joyce fired 650,000 into the middle and Tsouloftas let his hand go.

Kraous revealed K♦8♦ for a turned pair of kings, which was good for the triple up against Joyce, who held Q♥Q♠ for the side pot.

Both players checked and the 7♠ fell on the turn. Kamphues then bet 225,000 and Kraous called. The river was the 6♥ and Kamphues bet 610,000, leaving himself only 20,000 behind.

Kraous again called and Kamphues showed 4♦3♣ for a straight to win the big pot, leaving Kraous with just five big blinds.
