Sinnos Eliminates Shcherbakov and Banic

Kirill Shcherbakov was all in for his last 135,000 out of the big blind, and Ivan Banic also had his stack of around 300,000 in the middle. Eleftherios Sinnos put them both at risk and was in prime position to score a double knockout.

Banic surely thought this was his moment to double up, but unfortunately for him, Sinnos had picked up aces. The board of 3♦2♥10♦J♣8♦ brought no surprises, and Sinnos secured the double elimination of Banic and Shcherbakov.

Philip Joyce had just switched tables and taken the seat of the departed Roeland Peeks as Arian Kashani opened to 60,000 in the cutoff. Yisha Chen then three-bet to 180,000 on the button and Joyce, still unracking his chips, called in the small blind. Kashani got out of the way.

The flop came 5♥5♣4♠ and Joyce led out for 65,000. Chen raised to 200,000 and Joyce called.

Both players checked the Q♥ turn and the 6♦ fell on the river. Joyce checked again, Chen bet 800,000, and Joyce snap-called.

Chen showed K♦K♥, but Joyce turned over A♦A♣ to win the massive pot.

"Welcome to the table," Kashani told him.

"Aces versus kings in back-to-back hands. The odds of that have to be astronimcal, almost zero," Bobby James added.

Munoz Continues to Accumulate, Stacks Peeks

Munoz Picks Up Aces, James States He Mucked Kings

Yisha Chen opened from the hijack to 55,000 and Bobby James three-bet the button to 135,000. Marta Miquel Munoz then four-bet out of the small blind to 325,000, which got a quick fold out of Chen, though James called quickly.

The dealer put out a flop of Q♥8♣5♣ where Munoz continued for 220,000, and again James called at lightning speed.

On the 3♥ turn, Munoz kept up the aggression with a bet of 375,000, and just as he did on previous streets, James wasted no time in making the call.

The Q♣ river paired the board and after thinking for a short time, Munoz checked. James quickly checked back and announced "Kings,". Munoz flipped A♥A♣ for a pair of aces, and James launched his cards into the muck without exposing them to the table.

"I knew it. When she raised preflop, I knew she had aces," remarked James as he stood up to look at the board.

With that pot, Munoz climbs to around 3,500,000, while James drops to just over a million.

Georgios Skarparis raised to 55,000 in early positon. Artsiom Lasouski then three-bet to 165,000 in the cutoff, which big blind Georgios Tsouloftas cold-called.

Skarparis quickly tossed in his stack of 645,000 for a four-bet jam. Lasouski used some time banks before he found a fold with 10♥10♦, after which Tsouloftas snap-called.

Artsiom Lasouski raised to 50,000 in the cutoff. Chakib Mhiri flat-called on the button before Lander Lijo made it 225,000 to go in the small blind. Lasouski quickly got rid of his 7♠5♠ but Mhiri put Lijo all-in for 840,000.

Lijo snap called and a showdown was ordered.
