Mhiri Calls Down Gualano Light
Level 14
: Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Benjamin Spragg opened the action with a raise to 6,500 from middle position and Chakib Mhiri called in the hijack. Paolo Gualano called from the small blind, then Przemyslaw Cebrat three-bet to 33,000 out of the big blind. Spragg folded, but Mhiri and Gualano came along.
The flop fell 9♠Q♥4♦ which all three checked to the 9♦ turn. Gualano led out for 30,500, Cebrat folded, and Mhiri called.
A 6♠ dropped on the river and Gualano made another bet, this time for 36,500. Mhiri was thinking for around a minute and ultimately decided on a call.
Gualano showed K♣10♦ for a busted straight draw, and Mhiri's 5♣5♥ were good for the pot.
