Bryksin Comes From Behind to Bust Suvarna

Level 10 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Santhosh Suvarna moved all in for 47,000 from the hijack and Dmitry Yurasov called in the small blind. Ivan Bryksin then raised to 120,000 in the big blind and Yurasov folded.

Santhosh Suvarna: AQ All in
Ivan Bryksin: A9

"Free money," Bryksin said as they went to a flop of 775. The turn was the 9 and Bryksin took the lead with two pair. The 6 completed the board on the river and Bryksin took the pot to send Suvarna to the rail.

"I played it correct," Bryksin said.

"You played it wrong. What was the point of taking him out," tablemate Yassin Mahmoud countered, asking why Bryksin raised out Yurasov from the pot.

Hu Lasts One Hand as Ponakovs Remains an Aces Magnet

Level 9 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

During yesterday's $20,000 event, Aleksejs Ponakovs picked up aces twice at the final table to double up. He hasn't stopped picking them up today, and it recently resulted in the elimination of Zhewen Hu.

Ponakovs had a raise of 37,000 in front of him from the cutoff and Hu moved all in for 250,000 in the hijack. Ponakovs snap-called.

Zhewen Hu: AK All in
Aleksejs Ponakovs: AA

"My first hand," Hu said after seeing he had run into Ponakovs' aces. The board ran out 7J4210 and Hu was sent to the rail.

Ponakovs Burns Through His Time Banks, Then Takes Out Skrbic

Level 8 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

With around 50,000 in the pot on a flop of Q42, Milos Skrbic bet 15,000 from the cutoff and Aleksejs Ponakovs called under the gun.

Skrbic bet another 40,000 on the 7 turn and Ponakovs again called. The river was the 8 and Skrbic moved all in for 141,000.

Ponakovs used up all of his remaining time banks as he tanked for several minutes, eventually putting in the chips to call. Skrbic immediately tapped the felt and turned over AK for just ace-high, while Ponakovs had KQ for a pair of queens to win the pot and send Skrbic to the rail.

Dimitar Danchev was also recently eliminated by Team PokerStars Pro Elias Gutierrez.

Ladev is the First to Bust

Level 5 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Markkos Ladev
Markkos Ladev

The action was picked up on a board 346 in a hand between Markkos Ladev and Kayhan Mokri. Ladev had got his last 60,000 into the middle and Mokri was trying to bust him.

Markkos Ladev: AK All in
Kayhan Mokri: 55

Ladev had two overcards and a flush draw that he could hit to stay alive. The 7 turn improved Mokri to a straight, thus removing some of Ladev's outs. The 6 on the river was no help for Ladev, and he was the first player out of the tournament.
