Kursad Bayrakci made it 1,200 to go from middle position and Gerard Rubiralta called in the hijack. Roman Shcherbakov, who just reentered, also came along from the button.

The three went of a flop of J4A where Bayrakci checked, Rubiralta bet 1,500, Shcherbakov called, and Bayrakci folded.

When the 7 hit the turn, Rubiralta checked it over to Shcherbakov, who fired 3,500. Rubiralta thought for a few moments then put in a raise to 13,500, which got a quick fold out of Shcherbakov.

Mamut’s Aggression Forces Kartomi to Muck

Level 4 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

Ray Qartomy found himself in the under-the-gun position and decided to limp in. Nikolai Mamut called, and Georgios Skarparis checked his big blind.

When the flop came down J86, the action was checked around to Qartomy, who tossed out a bet of 1,000. Mamut responded with a raise to 3,300, and Qartomy was the only one to call.

Mamut kept the pressure on with a bet of 7,400 on the 3 turn, and Qartomy called again.

As the 2 hit the river, Mamut fired another 7,300. Qartomy took a moment to weigh his options but ultimately decided to fold, mucking his cards as he let the hand go.
